Dear 11 to 12-year-old-me,

I know you don't think anybody will understand what's on your mind. I know it hurts at night thinking about the kids at school. Sixth grade will be one of the worst years of your--our life. Those boys don't know shit. Especially Johnathan.

I wish I can tell you that you’ll forget, but you won't. You're going to hate yourself for a long ass time. In fact at 21 I still do. Well… it's more of a dislike now but I have good news. You’ll meet some great people as much as you don't think you will. Like the people in rooms 28, 42, and 43, they are the main kick in your pants to actually WRITE a 100,000 word novel. That's right and there's so much more, just remember two things; don’t trust Vi and don't let up for that manga you want on your 15th birthday.

Here’s to 80 more years,

Older You.
