It's another winter,

Cold outside,

Desolate of you,

Never again,

Will I get what I truly want.

Grandma's gone,

Grandpa's gone,

My Sweet Song is gone.

I can't breathe as the day grows closer,

The day when magic is supposed to be real,

The day where miracles happen in movies.

But a person like me can dream,

Of her smile and laugh,

The smell of Grandma's cooking,

The warmth of Grandpa's hugs,

Someday I'll get them again,

Maybe not this year or the next,

Someday though.
