Wishing on Winter Winds

Winter winds so cold and sweet,

Making me wish for another treat,

The heartbeats echo through hollow trees,

Feet crunch in snow breaking branches,

Oh so cold,

As the wind blows,

I'm supposed to be cold,

But the memories warm me,

I hear my sweet song's laugh,

I feel my Grandpa's hugs,

I taste the meals my Grandma cooked,

The past and future meet in my dreams,

After wishing on winter winds.
