Twirling around, feathers falling to the ground like snow. Her hands hold mine as we move in this strange dance. I pull her close, breathing in her heavenly scent. She tugs me closer with her nails dragging on my shirt, “to finally have love… it's wonderful.”
Her lips smile on my neck, “it is, isn't it?”
“I'm afraid to let you go.”
“You don't have to,” her hands trace down my arms. “I'll always be here, just like when you came and got me when I was lost.”
“I don't have a ring yet… and I know I didn't ask you right the first time… but, will you marry me?”
She pulls away cupping my face in her hands, “are you sure you want me?”
“As sure as we both love Stephen King,” I brush my nose against hers. “So what do you say? Marry me?”
“Yes,” she lays a peck on my lips. “Forever and ever yes.”
